2020 European Iaido Championships

The European Iaido Championships is held annually with individual and team formats.
A proposal for a World Goodwill Embu Taikai is currently being developed to send to the European Kendo Federation. Until such a proposal is accepted, it is unclear whether a team can be sent from Canada to compete.
WORKING PROPOSAL
Overview: 3 divisions, 2 rounds, 7 minutes each = 45 minutes
When:
Option #1 - Day 1 Seminar (End of Day)
Option #2 - Day 2 Individual Matches (Lunch Time)
Divisions (3): Overlapping groups to allow for easier team selection from distant travellers
Group A - MuDan to SanDan (0 - 3)
Group B - NiDan to GoDan (2 - 5)
Group C - YonDan to RokuDan (4 - 6)
Format: Embu Taikai - One competitor per country
Round 1 - All 20+ countries demonstrate at the same time
Round 2 - Selected finalists demonstrate at the same time
Panel: Panel of six judges (3 AJKF, 1 Europe Zone, 1 Asia Zone, 1 America Zone)
Judging:
Round 1 - Panel selects their Top 3 (no priority) from each division (Total of 18 votes)
Round 2 - Panel selects a First, Second, and Third from each division (Total of 6 votes)
First = 6 points
Second = 4 points
Third = 2 points
Results - Order in order of Most Points, then most Firsts, then most Seconds
