2019 East Coast Goodwill Taikai

OCTOBER 27 - JERSEY CITY, USA

The East Coast Iaido Goodwill Taikai was held on October 27, 2019 in Jersey City, USA. A seminar will be held over the weekend, led by Masakazu Oshita Sensei (Kyoshi 8-dan). The format of the taikai will have 3-Dan and below compete on 8-teams in a single elimination bracket, while 4-Dan and 5-Dan will compete in individual, double elimination brackets.

Team Canada Members achieved positive results:

  • Silver - Patrick Suen (5-Dan division)

  • Kantosho - Michael Hodge (5-Dan division)
